From 17-19 March 2025, the environMENTAL project brought together 42 participants for a productive General Assembly meeting in Faro, Portugal! Despite the bad weather, we had an amazing time full of insightful discussions, innovative research, and lots of fun!

🔹 3 research presentations – Diving deep into critical environMENTAL topics, like ‘mental illness vulnerability to extreme weather’, ‘Leveraging Human Stem Cell Technology for Disease Modeling and Assay Development in Screening Applications’ and ‘Genetics of bipolar disorders and age dependent effects’.
🔹 1 masterclass – Sharing knowledge and skills on virtual reality tools for mental health issues.
